Learn how to add, manage, and monitor your children's accounts on Tutor Connecxion.
Managing Children
As a parent, you can link and manage multiple children from your single Tutor Connecxion account.
Adding Your First Child
Starting the Process
- Log into your parent account
- Navigate to Children from the sidebar
- Click Add Child
- Choose your linking method (see below)
Linking Options
Option 1: Create New Account
If your child doesn't have a Tutor Connecxion account yet:
- Select Create New Account
- Enter your child's name
- Enter your child's email address
- Click Send Invitation
- Your child receives an email to set up their password
Option 2: Link Existing Account
If your child already has an account (created by their tutor):
- Select Link Existing Account
- Enter your child's email address
- Your child receives a confirmation request
- Once they approve, accounts are linked
Linking existing accounts doesn't change anything for the child—it just gives you visibility into their progress.
Viewing Your Children
Children Dashboard
Your dashboard shows a card for each linked child with:
| Information | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Your child's display name |
| Outstanding Tasks | Tasks they haven't completed |
| Recent Score | Their most recent task score |
| Next Session | Upcoming tutoring session |
Child Detail View
Click on a child's name to see:
- Full task history with scores
- Session schedule and history
- Progress trends and analytics
- Tutor information and contact
Switching Between Children
If you have multiple children:
- Look for the child selector at the top of pages
- Click to switch between children
- The current view updates to show that child's data
Removing a Child
If you need to unlink a child:
- Go to Children settings
- Click on the child you want to remove
- Click Remove Child
- Confirm the action
Note: Removing a link doesn't delete the child's account—it just removes your ability to view their progress.
Managing Access
What Parents Can See
When linked, you can view:
- ✅ Task assignments and scores
- ✅ Session schedules and history
- ✅ Progress analytics
- ✅ Tutor contact information
What Parents Cannot Do
- ❌ Join live sessions
- ❌ Complete tasks on behalf of the child
- ❌ Change the child's account settings
- ❌ Message as the child
Notifications for Parents
Stay informed with notifications:

Manage notification preferences in Settings > Notifications.
